Outside of Tier's hotel room in NYC |
Linda woke up chirpy and happy this morning. After a stressful night and only a few hours sleep, she thought she would be dragging and grouchy. Being grouchy is a choice, and she was not willing to ruin her Sunday being upset. Besides, what is the sense of letting objects rule your emotions? They are hunks of plastic, metal or wood. Back in the day, Linda used to let the scale decide if it was a good day or bad day. Now, she hardly ever weighs herself because it leads to a numbers fixation and is not healthy. Letting a wireless router possibly affect her Praise and Worship time this morning?... totally out of the question. So instead, she is happy and she knows it clap your hands! (You have to be a Girl Scout to get that reference.) Plus, below is the FB post she read this morning on Tier's page. (Remember they are in NYC for her 25th birthday celebration.) Linda got blurry eyes and tear drops from joy when she read it. Tierney is blessed with such amazing friends. The fact that she is now a healthy grown woman, has a great life and is on fire for Jesus is more than Linda could ever dream of.
Highlights of today:
1. Walking up Broadway in the snow and having two trips to Starbucks in an hour
2. Romping through Central Park and watching all the kids sledding
3. Listening to a family sing Amazing Grace in perfect harmony
4. Taking jumping funny pictures, and then turning around to realize there are like five photographers all following us like paparazzi. Then having an impromptu photoshoot with lots of Asians.

5. Exploring the Met and reliving the Egypt obsession I had as a kid.
6. Shopping in a four story Forever 21
7. Coffee and cheese/dessert buffet in a revolving restaurant
8. Singing along to ABBA!
Linda knows every ABBA song by heart. Her Senior Citizen aerobic group demands she plays the CD every single class |
