But Teacher, Wiki is Shut Down

Is it piracy using this picture?  Will I be blacked-out??
Some very popular websites are going to be blacking out their pages in protest of a bill that is heading to Congress to mess with peoples websites.  Piracy was in the headlines, but I don't think they mean the "Matey Walk the Plank" kind of pirate.  Since I did not want to read the article, I'm just going on the headlines.  Wiki will be protesting by totally shutting down their site for 24 hours.  I'm not sure how this helps.  Back in the day when Linda was little, if you needed a fact for homework, you used your trusty World Book Encyclopedia set.  If you didn't have a set it's because your parents didn't answer the door when the salesman knocked.  If you let him in the house, you bought a set.  He made you feel like a horrible parent if you let your kids grow up without the aid of a World Book atlas.  Before she got her own (and instantly outdated) encyclopedias, if Linda was doing a project and needed to know the capitol of Brazil, she got on her bike and rode to the library.  This is the exact set Linda had.  She googled the price of a 1969 set of World Book Encyclopedias and the cost was from $8.28 to $1,000.  If there was an internet black-out, she would never have learned this important and very interesting fact.  Hum......maybe I should black-out Life in the Doghouse to protest too.

P.S.  She just went to Wikipedia to find out the capital of Brazil and it was blacked out!  Drat!!! I wonder how many kids will be using this excuse for not turning in their homework?
