When You Wish Upon a Star

Tierney... aka retro Kiss girl (who actually met Gene Simmons in Myrtle Beach) thinks she's forming a '80's Big Hair Girl Band with her girls Nicki and Dawn. I hope the fame does not go to her head and she leaves me for LaLa Land. I love her, but sometimes I wonder what planet she came from. I am a little jealous of her. She gets to have all the fun. The highlight of my day was eating the crusty food stuck to the cat dish.

It Can't Be True!

I'm traumatized beyond words. I just read that a 110 pound python swallowed a Chorkie (that's like me; silky terrier-Chihuahua crossbreed) Whole! In one gulp! While the 2 human children watched. The human adult tried to rescue the pup by hitting the snake with a lawn chair. The picture was horrendous. I can't even finish this entry. I'll have to do it later. I'm just thankful that All Dogs Go To Heaven.

Gorilla Munch=Yum

After yesterday fiasco, it is good to just lay around doing nothing. I was alone most of the day, but I needed the rest since the shots I got yesterday made me feel worn down. Snickers had another accident tonight. Thank goodness for the Spot Bot because Linda is not nearly as stressed as she used to be when she had to scrub it up by hand. I tried a new cereal today called Gorilla Munch.
It was so good I kept begging and begging for more. I think Linda only got 1/2 bowl of cereal for dinner because between Snicks and I, we ate most of it. Now we are watching professional wrestling on TV. I think it might be fake because there is an awful lot of drama for grown up men.
Maybe Snickers and I can tag team Chip sometime. Wham! Slam! Ooph!

Call 911

Whew, I'm finally home from a very stressful trip to the Animal Hospital. Linda noticed that I was having a little trouble... um... how do I say this "making water." She called the Vet and I had to go right in. They stuck something in my mustent touchit to take my temperature. Yikes, I did not like that at all. The nurse also looked in my ears, at my teeth and I got horrible shots in my backside. It turns out I have just been a little stressed and my system is off. All is fine now and things are back to normal. The highlight was getting my nails manicured. They are trimmed nice and neat now. One thing I'm upset about is that I have to be careful and not run around or get excited because I have a little trouble breathing from a restricted trachea. No big deal, everyone carries me anyway because I am so cute. Here I am with the Vet and Nurse.

What the....?

Linda must be losing it. All afternoon she has been bending over, stretching, bouncing, laying down on the floor, getting back up while playing the music really loud on her laptop. There are a three other people on the laptop screen doing exactly what she is doing. They must all be crazy.
Too much sugar maybe. I started out barking at her and then decided to just join along and jump with her. It was actually pretty fun. I'm so pooped now that I have been curling up under her sweatshirt while she watches TV.

Glamour Dog

I know I am somewhat of a diva, but really... a girl has to look her best at all times. The website has outfits that are just darling. Bathrobes, slippers, gowns, sportswear, even some frilly panties all in my size "extra small". The Hepburn Bed for $1,400 might be a little rich even for me. At least it's not as expensive as the Beverly Hills Black and White bed at $1,700. I just love the Juicy Couture white cream cashmere sweater. Any of my fans that would like to contribute to my spring wardrobe budget will get a glossy 8x10 photo, personally signed with my paw print. If I can collect enough money, I'm going to splurge on the Bark-a-Rita dog bowl gift set. It even comes with a lime slice hooked on the side of the glass. A little shopping therapy is just what the doctor ordered to cheer me up. Tierney taught me that.

Choopie is Blue

Linda has been holding me and cuddling me all night. She even let me lay in piles of warm laundry and nap. I'm feeling sad and have been moping around all evening. My food with little cheese chunks added did not even perk me up. Snickers has been trying to play with me, but I am just sighing and putting my head down on my paws. For some reason, Chip is even laying down in the family room with us and has not had one hissy fit. I am so upset that by accident I peed on the big bed and Linda did not even get angry. She just loved on me and cleaned it with the spray. Tierney is going to be spending a lot more time here, so that's good. I look forward to the boxtop from her microwave dinners. Just thinking about that is cheering me up a little. "The sun will come up tomorrow...."

Meet the Humans

Chip, you are a rascal. How did you hack into my blog with those clumsy paws and brain the size of a pea? I hope someday you come to appreciate that I even let you live here. Sure, you were here long before I was, but obviously the humans love me best. Speaking of humans, it is time I post a photo of them since they do take care of me and supply me with "Choopie cookies" whenever I do the dance. The wedding photo is Taylor and Sarah (kiss-kiss). The girls kissing the snakes are Linda and Tierney. I love them and would not trade them for all the Milk Bones in the world.

The Cats Side

This is Chip, the very fit kind hearted cat that lives with those two obnoxious dogs Choopie and Snickers. Those dawgs are so annoying DO NOT believe what they say about me. Right now, Stoopie Choopie is sleeping on Jerry's lap after exhausting herself chewing on his PJ string. What a loser. She does not even know that I hacked into her dumb blog. Great original password dodo. Snickers is lolling on his flea ridden bed stinking up the den with massive gas issues. Nothing new there. Sometimes I can't even come downstairs to use my necessity box because of the smell.
I have to listen to the little rat yip, yip, yip all day while the hairless ones are at work. Snickers is not so bad, he does just lay around sleeping most of the time and only stirs when they come home.
At least I am the best looking of the three pets. Check out my beautiful calico colors. This photo isn't the greatest angle, I might look a bit chubby, but it's because the camera adds a few pounds.

Where Oh Where Has My Tierney Gone?

Oh where or where can she be? I feel like Little Bo Peep who lost her sheep, only I lost my Tierney girl. I remember the first day she found me at the pet store. I was in a cage with a bunch of other puppies and she picked me! Boy, did I have some really big ears back then. They are so big they don't even fit in this photo. I admit I kind of looked strange, but now I am adorable if I do say so myself.

I played out on the deck for awhile with Snickers today. It was 60 degrees and very sunny. Snick's kept rolling me over on my back when ever I went close to the railing. He takes such good care of me. I checked out his gigantic dog house. It is so big and deep, I could get lost in it. My little hut by the side of Linda & Jerry's bed is just big enough to lay down and turn around once or twice. It is cozy and I feel so safe. At night when Jerry turns off the light by the bed, I go in all by myself just like a big dog. Speaking of bedtime.....

What's in a Name

It gets very confusing around here sometimes. Although our humans named us Snickers, Chalupa, and Chip... we hardly ever get called by our real names. For instance, they might say Choopie; Choopie-Poopie; the Choopster; ChooChizzle; ChooChooChoo; Boodie,BoodieBoo (don't ask); Choobaka or Chupacabra when they want me to jump on the bed. If Snickers is outside and needs to come in, they yell Snikerdoodles; Snicks, Doodles, Good Boy, Boodie (singular); Big Dog, Sneakers, Shnicks come in NOW! But we pretty much answer to anything just in case there is food involved. The bad cat Chip is called Chipster; Chiparoonie; Fat Cat; Tater Chip; ChocoChip; Nacho Chip; ChipieBoodie. There are so many rules to keep and half the time I can't even tell if they are talking to me. I'm not allowed to chew Jerry's boxers when he is sitting on the toilet, but I can chew his belt when he is on the couch. I'm not allowed to eat the cats food, before or after she eats it then barfs; but when I finish my food everyone cheers. If I eat cat poop or roll in it or carry it around the house I get in trouble, but they praise me when I poop. They yell at me when I scoot my butt along the carpet but then they lay me on my back and twirl me around and around on the same carpet while playing. It's a confusing life at my house, but I would not trade my humans for all the Milk Bones in the world.

I smell Chocolate

All day long I kept smelling the chocolate on the counter from Valentine's Day. I know it is terrible for my figure, but it just drives me crazy. All I get to eat is Mighty Dog and Little Caesar dog food. Once in awhile Linda gives me a treat from the table, but no matter how much I dance or look cute I never get any sugar. They must figure I am hyper enough. Today Linda picked me up a new coat. Its plaid with toggle buttons and a fleece lining. As soon as I get a chance, I'll post a photo.

My Favorite Valentine

This is my favorite picture of Snickers and I frolicking on his bed. Totally G rated, don't worry.
He is my Valentine forever and ever. Our size and age difference makes no difference to me, I love him just the way he is. Tierney is spending the night at her Dad's tonight because they have a better TV and Lost is on tonight. I know what has priority in her life now, and it's not the Choopster. I guess I'll just have to take her Valentine present back to Tiffany's. So Sorry.

The dreaded Spot Bot

Jerry gave Linda this big contraption thingie for Christmas. It's called a pet Spot Bot and she just took it out of the box today. Oh my gosh, it scares the pants off me. Linda put it down on the place that Snickers had his little slip-up the other day. It makes a huge whoooshing noise that I DO NOT LIKE at all. I kept barking and barking at it but it would not stop. When Linda saw how good it worked, she kept setting it down all over the house. I'm currently very stressed and emotional. I need Dr. Phil. It is so icy & cold out tonight. I'm glad I have my pee-pee pad as a back up plan. Brrrrr.

I love my Tierney

Tierney makes me so happy. Her comment about the Hootchie Hotel for Doggies made me laugh so much I did a little dance on my back feet. I am going to share my screaming monkey toy with her when she comes home. And I don't share that with just anyone. In another piece of interesting news, a Brazilian pet plastic surgeon has perfected a face lift for dogs. I'm still young and fresh,
but for some more "mature" bitches, it would be a real pick-me-up. He is also doing mammary lifts if your "you know whaties" get a little droopy from nursing the wee ones. Now that is truly amazing. There is nothing that looks worse then a poochie dragging her girls along the carpet. You can read the news for yourself at Chow for now.

Happy Valentines Day

Yahoo, I'm excited. While surfing the net this afternoon, killing some time, I came upon this romantic idea for Valentine's Day. There is a motel that opened just for dogs looking for a little love. I'm talking serious hooking-up. It's called the Pet Love Motel. Besides satin sheets, ceiling heart-shaped mirrors and a special control panel to dim the lights they pump romantic music into each room. Since I'm a little shy, I particularly love the thick curtains to insure complete discretion. To get things rolling, you can watch a naughty DVD of other pups frolicing. For just $42 dollars for 2 hours, you can't go wrong. If you don't have a special Valentine at the moment, management will provided an escort for the evening. (That is extra.) Now if I could just book a flight to Soa Paulo. Check out the photo at

I so enjoy Saturdays. It's the day Jerry has to color 5 comic pages in one day. This means he sits on the couch with his lap top and I get to lay my head on his keyboard. It's warm and I love the feeling of warm things. It's been a slow couple of days. Sleep, eat, beg for treats...sleep, eat, beg for treats... kind of like the movie Groundhog day.

Finally, it's not my fault

Tonight Snickers was called BAD DOG and was put out on the deck. He got over excited thinking he was going for a walk, but Jerry was just putting the trash out. When he did not get a walk, he went down and did a weewee on the carpet on purpose. Here is a picture of us getting to know each other a little better. This was my first day home from the pet store. I was only 1 1/2 pounds.

Much Drama

Yikes! Tierney was so sick today, 103.5 fever. Linda forgot all about the Choopster. I was left to fend for myself (and defend myself from the bad cat) while they went to the Dr's. and the
emergency clinic. Tierney's body was so burning hot it was like laundry fresh from the dryer. Everything is fine now, she is in bed resting and Linda and Jerry are on the couch with me. I'm watching a special on Bruce Lei. KI HAP! He was so ripped. I bet I could take him though.

I'm a star!

The cover is done for my new comic, Savage Sword of Choopie. My readers are the first to see the masterpiece that Jerry penciled, inked and then colored on the computer. Don't I look adorable? It is sure to be an exciting adventure, you won't want to miss it. Check out to see other images as they are posted.
Not much going on today. Tierney read my blog while she was in class yesterday. She even left me a comment that she loves me. Whoo Hoo!! I knew she did not forget about me. Now I feel bad for chewing up her favorite undies. She should not have left them on the floor of her room. Tonight I had a few bites of rice cake and peanut butter. It was delicious. Who knew? I'm worried about my Snickers dog. He is 12 years old and starting to move pretty slow. Going up and down the stairs hurts his knees. I try and cheer him up by climbing on his back and chewing on his ears. He loves me and is so gentle. I let him steal my treats sometimes, but I let him think he is pulling a fast one on me. I hope he lives forever and ever. He is my hero. The cat, Chip, I could do without. That cat makes me crazy. It's always hissing and swiping at me for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Must have PMS or something.

Savage Sword of Choopie

Today I found out that Jerry is going to feature me in a new comic book. It is called The Savage Sword of Choopie. It is about a beefy barbarian that takes me on all his adventures to save the world. There is a surprise ending, but you have to buy the book to find out what happens. In a few days I will post the full color cover. I have to admit, I look fierce.

It was kind of a boring day. I ate an empty toilet paper roll and some cat poop. For some reason the litter box is a monkey I can't get off my back. It's like Winne the Pooh and his honey. Only
the honey is stickier. Every time I do it, Linda brushes my teeth and gives me a bath in the kitchen sink. I hate it, but the few seconds of pleasure is worth the price I have to pay.

Tierney has not been home since Thursday. I hope she still loves me.

Sunday, February 3, 2008

Wow, I can't believe I finally have my own blog. There is so much I want to share with the world, and I hardly ever get to leave the house. Sure, I have nice humans and 3 really comfy beds. (My newest bed in the kitchen is black and pink fur. It has a little pocket to snuggle down and hide from bad cats. My bed in the family room has kind of an Eddie Bauer feel to it, it's ok, not my favorite. The other bed is stuffed inside my night-time sleeping cage. I pooped on the first one when I was a puppy, and the humans had to buy another one just like it at Target.) Oops, sorry.. I have a little problem keeping focused. My humans are Jerry and Linda. Jerry (the bigger hairy one who is my pack mate) plays with me, feeds me and is always drawing little monkeys and lizards. He does not let me near his comic books or drawing supplies, but I do get to lay on his lap when he is working on his laptop. That's pretty much every single minute he is home. The other one is smaller and WAY prettier. She also smells kind of sweet, not like Jerry who reminds me of my birth parents. There is also another human, Tierney. She is 21 and hardly ever home. When she is home, I am the center of her world. Well, that is when she is not sleeping or taking a bath.... which is all the time. But she does love me. As soon as the door opens and I hear "Choo..Choo..Choo" in a high squeaky voice, I go crazy. She also gives me the cardboard off of all her microwave dinners. Oh, I love tearing those to bits. There used to be another gigantic human living here too. His name was Taylor and he is even bigger then Jerry. He got married to Sarah this summer and moved out. I still lay on his bed because his room smells great, kind of like old sneakers. All and all, I have a great life. I will try and post something every day. Welcome to my world.
