No walks today because it's been raining or misting all day. Linda is going to take a short 20-minute nap since she didn't sleep last night due to my thirstiness. I had to keep getting up for a drink of water. She is worried I might have diabetes since that is one of the symptoms. When Chim goes and gets his shots next week, she is going to bring me along for a quick check-up. Her classes were super fun today, but at one point the whole class stopped to look down at the parking lot (The aerobic room is on the second floor.) One of the woman in class noticed a baby carrier out in the rain on the median strip in the parking lot of the gym. There wasn't anyone around it, but there was a blanket over the top like a baby was inside. They watched for a minute or so and Linda sent someone down to the front desk to go check out what in the world could be going on. People were driving right past it without slowing down! Before a front desk person could make it outside, a lady from the other side of the parking lot walked over and picked it up! Apparently she LEFT THE BABY ON THE MEDIAN STRIP OF A VERY BUSY PARKING LOT, and walked away to get her other kids strapped in their car seats. No joke, it was on the corner right where cars enter the lot from a very busy street! Plus it was raining and the pavement was slippery. Oh my gosh, some people should not have children.
