Tierney & Friends in Central Park. Beautiful photo Dawn. |
It's been a night of technological mishaps and frustrations. Linda hates all those code names, letters, long numbers and computer/internet/wireless routers/lan/IP address stuff. She has a huge tension headache. First, her computer got some kind of wacky virus even though she has the most up to date protection. She was watching a SyFy show on her laptop and a Sprint commercial came on. It started going nuts, loud sirens were going off and there were about 40 tabs opened on the top of her computer. Every time she tried to shut one, another opened. The commercial was in an endless loop and would not go away. It was awful. She had to reboot and run scans to get it all fixed. Then, she lost her wireless Internet connection when they tried to move her x box upstairs. It took 4 solid hours to get the router back up and running. It's after 12:30 at night and she is still awake. Ugh. The only cool thing is she found out her new TV has something called On Demand. It's a button you press to watch older movies and shows for free! She had no idea at all she even had that feature. Oh, and it turns out that she needs a $45 adapter to get her xbox to be wireless so she can watch Netflix on it. Linda kind of wishes she was strolling around NY with Tierney right about now.
