Three Dog Night

Before bed last night, Linda filled the tub with hot water to soak her icy feet.  They were so cold that the water felt freezing and not burning.  When she got out, her skin was scalded and red, so I guess it was hot enough.  Next, she put LLBean winter hiking socks on.  Then once she was in bed, she coaxed Chimmie into laying over the top of her feet and I was on her neck like a furry scarf.  Impossible, but she was still shivering.  Two dogs, warm socks, heat on 70 degrees, 3 quilts and a down comforter should have done the job. Nope.  For the next three hours, she had the feeling of sharp needles pricking her feet as they defrosted.  It's worse in her feet than in her hands, but they were cold too.   She really missed her old Siberian Husky Sheba.  That dog could put out some serious body heat.  It was definitely a Three Dog Night.  (She purposefully kept her eyes red instead of the sky blue they were because Sheba was a demon dog.)  Tonight at church she is going to have to wear two pairs of socks and her furry boots.  Sunday night she was almost two cold to pay attention to the teaching.  Do you think people would think she was weird if she bought her leopard snuggie to wrap herself in?
