Gater-Hater

This is the stuff nightmares are made of. A 7-year old terrier was taking a walk with his human by a pond behind his home in West Palm Beach. All of a sudden, the man saw a giant alligator swimming in the water towards his dog. He screamed for Mandy to run away, but it was to late. Chomp! The gator clamped down on the poor pooch. David Grounds, Mandy's owner, jumped on the gator and started poking it in the eyes to make it let go of the dog. The gator let go of the dog, but chomped down on David's hand and ate two of his fingers. Both Mandy and David went to the hospital to be treated for their wounds and will survive. Not so for the 7'2" gator though. He'll be someones wallet and belt in his next life. This photo reminded Linda of a giant alligator float that Tierney and Taylor used to play on at their local pool. About 15 people could fit on it at once. Tier is petrified of real alligators because when she was 7, a camp councilor told her she was going to be eaten by one of she went near the camp pond.
