Thanks to the nurturing of a dog, two red panda cubs are thriving. The cubs birth mother rejected them. The zoo keepers in Northern China quickly looked for a surrogate mother. This little dog from a nearby farm was chosen to nurse the cubs. She immediately took the cubs into her litter and they have doubled in length since she has started caring for them. There are fewer then 2,500 red pandas in the world, so this doggie is a hero for nursing and loving the cubs. I can't wait until they grow bigger then Mom. (Linda feels weird every time she hugs Taylor. She has to stand on tippy-toe just to kiss him.)
