Shhh!

Every dog's nightmare is tonight and tomorrow. It's 4th of July fireworks time. Good ole' boy Snickers would get so distraught that Linda had to let him sleep under her bed or right next to her. He would just lose it when the booming started. Once he got wound up, Snickers was no longer rational. He would just shake and cry all night. Remember, our hearing is so much more sensitive then yours. I don't remember being particularly scared last year. Linda must have held me and kept me close. If you do have a dog, please bring him inside and stay with him if their are fireworks close by. A dog left in the backyard might run away and get lost, or worse, hit by a car.
