6:00 a.m., really? On a Sunday? Is this absolutely necessary that we get up while it's still kind of dark? Well, yes it is said Linda. Today is the one day every year that she goes into DC bright and early for a 5K called Race for Hope. Her dear friend Carol has been through three very rough brain surgeries to remove tumors. She is a super survivor and will be one of the guests of honor at the race! This race is to raise money for research to cure all types of brain tumors. According to their web page, so far $2,104,184.79 has been donated. If Carol can suffer over 10 years in dealing with her brain tumors, who am I to complain that I have to get up early on a Sunday?
