The Grass Really is Greener

This is Linda's afternoon of rest. She taught her classes this morning, and planned on coming home to rest. But then she noticed the front yard needed mowing. Last year, the front yard took her 15 minutes. This year, we have so much beautiful thick grass, that it took her twice as long and she got a huge 45-gallon bag of clippings. It was just mowed last week too! We can't believe the difference from last spring, it looks amazing. She decided not to tackle the backyard because it's still wet. Bagging wet grass is worse than returning around 400 pounds of topsoil to Home Depot, which is her next resting activity. After that, there will be a trip to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, the plant nursery for new flowers for two big pots and then there are baskets of laundry that need folding. When she's done with all that rest, she has nursery duty at church tonight. After dinner, the carpet needs vacuuming and the floor scrubbing in preparation for Noah's visit tomorrow. Wait, when will you fit our walk in?
