Linda stayed home from church last night to rest and drink lots of fluids. She is feeling better, but now has a cough so intense that it hurts her body. She really needs to get better quick. Tonight she'll have to miss nursery duty (which she loves so much) and Friday night there is a 50's party theme for Family Night. (Can you say Poodle Skirt!) Then on Saturday, it is her care team meeting. Over all these years, shes only missed 2 care team meetings too! If she knew the sickness wasn't contagious, she would go to all these fun things and just keep popping cough drops in her mouth and taking cold medicine. I told her a trip to the Dr. would be smart, but she said no since 99% of the time she never does what the Dr. orders anyway. She has not taken us for a walk in forever. Thankfully, Paul was able to take us once this week. Maybe today she'll be able to take us for a short one. We got a new double lead that attaches to our leash. Now she only has to hold one leash instead of two.
