It's Almost Time
T minus 15 and counting and then Noah will be arriving on our doorstep. (Hopefully, Gretel won't actually leave him on the doorstep, she'll ring the bell and bring him inside.) Last time Linda thought Gretel said 8:00 a.m., but it was really 7:30. She just had turned off the alarm when Gretel came in. For some strange reason, she had forgotten to lock the front door that night. It's a good thing it was Gretel and Noah and not the boogie man intent on bodily harm. Anyway, Linda got me up early today (boooo!) and fed us breakfast. Chimmie is spending most of the day outside and I'll be spending all of the day underneath her giant dresser in the bedroom. Babies usually poke my eyes, pull my (rather large) ears and make me very nervous. Linda said Noah isn't like most babies, he won't hurt me. Chimmie will be able to come in and entertain him with his antics for 10 minutes every hour, or if Noah starts acting fussy. Since Noah is going to be on the floor most of the time, Chimmie might think its OK to stuff a wet, slobbery piece of toy into his face. He'll only be able to come in when Noah is on Linda's lap. Get ready for some new Noah photos in the hours to come. His favorite toy... a stuffed dog! Way to go Noah.
UPDATE: After waiting and waiting for Noah to arrive, Linda finally called Gretel to see where they were. Grandma decided to stay home and watch him today. Everyone forget to call Linda and tell her that he would not be coming. She is so sad.
