He had a very long life. First, Coyote was Snickers toy. (For new readers, Snickers was a 80 pound part German Shepherd/Doberman.) After Snickers left us, Coyote became mine. I played with him for years too. When Chimmie came to live with us, I passed Coyote on to him because he seemed to be fascinated by it. Even though Coyote had been well loved, it was still 100% whole and healthy when he got it. By far, it is Chim's favorite toy. Until today. Coyote is no more. Last night he met his demise. Autopsy results: Death by Chewing. Chim chewed off both ears, one eye and his entire nose. Gone. Vanished. The parts are probably working their way through Chimmies intestines right this second. Linda will try to salvage whats left of it, but it's not looking good. Maybe she'll be able to find a new Coyote at the pet expo on Saturday. Poor Chim, he just does not understand his dumb actions result in even dumber consequences.
