A Plus
If any of my readers are trying to decide what college to go to in the fall, I have a suggestion. The College of Charleston, SC should be your number one choice. Founded in 1770, the college president seems to really want the students to get great final grades. After a long night studying at the library, 200 students found a huge boxes of cupcakes on a patio outside when they left. Besides providing yummy food, they are offered free massages, yoga and zumba classes, hammocks, meditation and stress counseling the week before exams. Earlier, a van full of puppies arrived from the local animal shelter for the students to cuddle. The college president even prepared a pancake breakfast to fuel the hungry students. Other schools offer similar perks during finals week like arts and crafts, video games and keeping the library open 24 hours. When Linda went to college, she was lucky to find a parking space during finals week.
