Saturday Nights Alright for Resting....
(Not fighting, like Elton John used to sing. Linda said she loved Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and knew every song by heart. The year it came out, she even went to see Elton John in concert in New York City.) Linda ended up staying home from her care team meeting tonight. Her cough is pretty bad and her chest hurts. She tried, but could only teach 30 seconds of her first class today. She started out a little woozy since it was SO hot and muggy on the pool deck. As soon as she started talking into the mic, she started coughing and sputtering. There happened to be another instructor there, so she took over and Linda just shadowed her, not saying anything and sitting down as much as she could. She also let her 2 assistants to most of the work in the next two classes. When she got home, she took a 30 minute nap and has just been resting ever since. It's so weird to see her not feeling well since she has an incredible immune system. Usually, she can come face-to-face with any virus or sickness and not get a tickle in her throat. I know that by tomorrow, she'll be fine.
We are going to go downstairs and watch a TV show on netflix called Jericho. The first episode was really good. It's about what happens to survivors in a small town after 23 major cities undergo a nuclear attack. Since Linda has the attention span of a three year old when it comes to watching TV, we might be back upstairs in 5 minutes.
