Have You Seen This iPod?
All in all, not one of our best days yesterday. Usually, the worst thing that happens is that Chimmie is annoying or one of Linda's joints hurts a little. Our lives are pretty amazing. We love our family, Linda loves her church, she has a fun job, and I have every comfort a dog could want. The things I complain about are just minor snafus compared to what 99.9% of the world deals with on a daily basis. Still, I felt bad for Linda yesterday. She woke up so sick that she actually tried to get subs for her classes. That NEVER happens. She teaches no matter what, even on crutches after her knee replacement. She ended up teaching all 5 of her classes and at 8:00 p.m. last night, she was wondering if she would actually live to see the morning. Driving home she was shivering, sweating, feverish, nauseous and the nerve was pinched in her back causing her leg not to work. She had to use her left leg for the break because her right leg would not move up off the gas pedal. After she limped inside, she threw Chimmie outside in the yard and went to bed at 8:00 p.m. . At 10:30 I woke her up (good thing too!) She took care of us, ate a bit of food and went back to bed. This morning, she is getting better. Her leg works, no fever or chills and she just feels like she has a bad cold. To top it all off, she just realized that she left her iPod with all her work music on it in the stereo at the gym. If someone steals it before management can go rescue it, she will be very, very sad. UPDATE: The iPod was still in the stereo when the next instructor taught, but she left it there. Hopefully, the gym manager will rescue it for her. Linda is done with two classes, only two more to go. She is going to try and rest for the next hour to gather some strength. Now she has a deep chest cough and really can't breath much at all.
