We got to try our new double lead harness out today. It's definitely something that I'll have to get used to because Chim walks faster than I do. I think Linda will be able to train him to slow down and stay next to me. Believe it or not, he is very smart. Sometimes he acts dumb and does stupid things, but when there are rewards (like a cookie) Chimmie is brilliant in obeying and remembering rules. We are going to practice on short walks and see how he does. I bet he would LOVE it when other dogs are around since I'm the brave one. That's how Cesar does it on the Dog Whisperer. If there is a dog afraid of other dogs, he hooks collars together with a brave dog and then the frighted one learns everything is A-OK.
