Wednesday Recovery

Whew. That was one tough night. Even though we all went to bed a little after 9:00, there wasn't too much sleeping going on in the big bed. Chip and Chimmie had a quite night, but on our side of the door, there was a lot of trying to get comfortable and finding a position that did not hurt Linda's body. When she changes positions, I have to move too. I sleep pressed right up against her because it's super warm and I love her. Surprisingly, her usual Tuesday night lower leg cramps did not happen at all. She decided to start drinking more water in the morning and continued to drink the rest of the day. During one 2 hour stretch of heavy sweating, she drank over 48 ounces. All that water did nothing for her disc/hip/groin issues though. She said it was dangerous driving home from the gym because she could not move her leg from the gas to the break peddle without wincing in pain. Once she was in the driveway, it took her 5 minutes to get out of the car. Last night, the thought of having to do 4 classes Wednesday was overwhelming. This morning, she feels much better and is not going to go as hard. Although she loves teaching classes, sometime she thinks about getting a job where she is pushing buttons on a computer instead of pushing her body to pure exhaustion everyday. (OK Linda, that does not look so hard! All your doing is standing there with a giant pool noodle over your shoulder.)
