Hodgepodge (or Hotchpotch for the Brits)

It's been a super busy day for Linda today, so this post is going to be hodgepodge.   She only taught 2 of her 5 classes today.  Two were canceled for spring break, and Greer taught one for her.  Since Linda is on baby watch, she's been glued to her phone.  Baby Girl will come when she is ready, and I guess Linda can just chill until she does!  After her classes, she stopped to get a bagel at the Cafe.  There is a Washington Post paper machine out front.  Linda stopped buying papers years ago because she just reads the news online.  For some reason, she had a yearning to read real paper, so she put her money in and tried to pull the door open, and tried some more...nope, wouldn't budge!   After a few more seconds, she actually looked at the price.  $1.00!  For the daily paper?  What??? The last time she bought one from a machine it was 35 cents.  Of course it says $1.00 as plain as can be, but she totally didn't notice it.  Guess she'll just keep reading it online.
No wonder paper sales are down
Next up, cleaning out and washing her car.  She just realized that in the year she had the Kia, she has never once washed it.  It always looks fine.  Now it looks super fine, including the inside.  Next up, a trip to the bank.  Guess what was open right next door?  YES! Sweet Frog!!
Such Sweet people!  The Owner is in the pink.
Help Yourself Toppings!
Are You Serious?  Cake Batter flavor!!
Linda wasn't planning on it opening today, so she didn't get any.  (You would think after all this waiting, she would have had a mega-cup, but she actually wasn't hungry for any.)  When she got home, she decided to mow the yard.  Because she is such a klutz, she spilled gas all over her hand a leg while she was filling the mower.  Instead of going right inside to wash her hands, she just used an old rag and wiped them off.  Bad move.  By the time she finished the front, her skin was burning like crazy and now it's all cracked.  The backyard will just have to wait until she figures out what to do about her dying skin.
Burning Flesh-Eating Disease !
There are a million more chores she could do today, but for the next 1/2 hour, she is going to finish her book... in the bath...and REST!
