Coyotes Coming to a County Near You
Chimmie drove Linda nuts last night while she was trying to watch The Biggest Loser. I was tucked in next to her under the blanket on the love seat. He was whining, crying and throwing a temper tantrum because he didn't have his "woobie" (aka flat coyote.) It was in his den and the door was shut. It was exactly the same fit Taylor used to throw when he didn't have his Blue Bear to take a nap. Linda did not want to get up and get it, so she tried to coax him to snuggling with her without coyote. Nope, in order to get some peace, she finally had to open the bedroom door so he could drag it out. It took him all of 2 minutes to fall asleep next to her once he started sucking. Real-life coyotes have been caught on video in the next county over from ours. Wildlife officials caught this coyote prowling for food with a camera that was set up to document the many sightings that had been reported. What if they come to my woods? There are plenty of deer, fox and owls, so maybe the coyotes are not far behind. They eat small animals... and I'm small. Unless they are starving, I don't think they would attack us during the day, do you?
