Linda is LOVING her new garbage disposal. She said she had really taken for granted a sink that drains and doesn't stay full of water for 8 hours like ours has been doing! The new disposal works like a champ and the water goes away immediately. The pipes must have had a slow build up of clogs because she never remembers it draining so fast. She can't wait to start cooking and baking again. On the way home from church tonight, she stopped at the store to buy the ingredients to make Peanut Butter Kiss and Chocolate Chip cookies. This time, she won't have to wash the dishes in the bathtub. Even though it ended up being expensive ($150) she thinks it's money well spent. When her 25-year old stove broke, she waited a year to get a new one. Ditto for the fridge. (When the clothes dryer broke, she did buy a new one in the same week. Hanging clothes outside to dry in the winter isn't fun.) Having our garbage disposal fixed in less than a month is a huge improvement for her. I'm glad she is so happy.
