Have a Coke and a Whine
Most of my posts are very important (Noah making elephant sounds or Chimmie sitting still) but not nearly as important as a story I just read. Coke (the soda, not the drug) fans are up-in-arms and hopping mad about Cokes new holiday can. Instead of the trademarked red can, the soda is packaged in a snow white can (the color, not the Disney girl with dwarfs as friends.) Some people are accusing Coke of "trickery", others are calling the white cans "blasphemy" in hundreds of tweets and emails sent to the company. The soda drinkers swear the soda taste different in the white can. Plus, people must not know the difference between white and silver, because they are mixing it up with Diet Coke and buying the wrong six-pack. Coke has stopped making the white cans and will go back to red. Linda is so glad she does not work in marketing anymore. She would have suggested something like a white can and then probably gotten fired for it. Does anyone else think people are whiny? They changed the label on my dog food brand and I didn't get all wigged out about it.
