Is There a "Putting Air in Tires" for Dummies Book??

This is how Linda remembers it
Yes, Linda needs that book.  Month ago, someone showed her how to put air in her tires, but she wasn't paying much attention.  That's what boys are for.  Checking oil, putting air in tires, adding break fluid... those things are not her job.  She can learn all sorts of new tasks, but she does not want to learn about cars.  Since she hates to keep bugging her male friends, she decided today to tackle it on her own.  Her little "low tires" light has been on for days.  How hard could it be, right?  Well... the whole process turned into an hour long ordeal.  First, she could not find the little gauge thingie that checks how much air is already in the tires, so she had to guess.  Next, air cost $1.00.  Yes... you have to pay for air at the gas station.  What??  OK, she got the change.  So she would not lose them, she took all the little rubber caps off  and put them in one spot.  There wasn't any kind of "ding ding" sound or gauge on the hose, so she just did it for 5 seconds each tire.  Wow!  That was so easy.  Off she goes, but notice her light is still on.  Oh, and remember those little caps she put in one spot not to lose them? She happened to put them on the roof of the car!  She forgot to put them back on and drove off with them still on the roof.  After searching and searching, she gave up and drove to the Merchants tire in the same parking lot as the gas station to buy new ones.  Three brothers run the place.  They listened to her whole story about never having done air before, losing the caps, etc. and decided to have some fun with her.  They told her each rubber cap was $100 a piece, and that she put too much air in her tires and now she needs 4 new tires too!  Then they made her come in the garage and check the pressure herself  so she would know how to do it (and gave her the gauge as a prize!)  Three of the tires were fine, but the right front was 22 instead of 35.  They put the car up on a jack and found a big fat nail in the tire.  Turns out it only cost $24.99 to take the tire off, and patch the hole.  Plus, they gave her 4 new little caps.  Yay for the Merchant Tires boys!!  P.S.  Yes... it exists, at least on line:
