Don't Eat Yellow Snow

I'm on  the dining room table.  Look how high the snow was on our sliding glass door!!
None of us are ready for the winter, and that is an understatement.  I don't like snow, Linda doesn't like snow and Chimmie was way too young to remember the snow from last year.  She says clearing snow and ice off the car, shoveling, driving, walking us,... YUCK.  Watching big fat snow flakes fall down and seeing everything blanketed in pristine white... those are the only nice part of winter weather.  I remember a few years ago when the snow kept falling and falling and covered our whole car.  It's a good thing Linda planned ahead and had enough dog/cat food and litter for us pets.  Plus, our power never went out so we never had to suffer with a freezing house.  The Farmers Almanac predicts that our winter will be slightly milder and drier than normal, but with above average snowfalls.  If they are to believed, snow is supposed to be heaviest any day now!  Maybe the book is wrong and we'll only get a dusting of snow all winter.  Yes!
