When Linda takes us out for our night walks, she wears some pretty crazy outfits. Since it's dark and nobody can see her, she doesn't give it a moment notice what other people might think. One of her favorite cold weather items is a mask that covers her face, but she can still breath. Hey, she gets cold really quickly and the hat is super warm. A friend of hers named Steve actually runs in a weighted vest that has little pockets that hold weights. And sometimes, she likes to walk up to the mailbox at the shopping center and mail her bills. Just never-ever put all three of those things together, because a runner did just that and was dropped by the police who thought he was a terrorist! A man set out for his normal run wearing a mask like Linda's, a weighted vest and carrying a small package he had to mail. People watched the guy stuff the package into the mailbox and run away. The immediately called police to report the "terrorist." The bomb squad showed up, streets were closed down and a robot removed the suspected bomb from the mailbox. Turns out it was a package that had been mailed to the man by mistake and he was sending it to the rightful owner. The unsuspecting runner was questioned and released. Who was more embarrassed, the runner or the police?
