World's Grouchiest Cat

Don't even THINK of going in Chip's fort.
Chip Cat is really old.  No one in the family really remembers when she came to live with us.  If you want some background on Chip, you can read Tierney's guest post:  The Story of Chip; November, 2011.  Now, after 5 years, Chip usually leaves me alone.  I'm so laid back and easy going, she doesn't not get in my face like she does with Chimmie.  Chim wants to play with her in the worst way, but all he earns are 5 sharp claws across his face.  He also tries to eat her cat food.... when she is actually at her bowl!  It's like he's trying to get himself killed or something.  Just now, Chim, Linda and I were all on the small love seat reading about the Gaylord Hotel. (She'll be visiting there with friends in a few weeks.) Chip decided she wanted to be on the chair with us and jumped up.  It made Chimmie go crazy barking and shivering, she hissed and spit at him, and I just hid under Linda's arm until it was all over!  Chip may be old, but she is still kitten-like in her ability to jump and react quickly.
