Alvin, Simone and Theodore made it! The three babies are no longer in their nest as of 11:30 a.m. This is such a relief for Linda. She has been feeding them seeds and nuts the past 12 days to try and keep them healthy. Earlier this week they still could not walk, although they were jumping up and down like little munks on pogo sticks. She just went out to feed them and put out a saucer of water and the nest was empty. I hope they have a long happy life and don't decided to live in our backyard. Chimmie will think they are toys and chew them to bits. (Linda is a little reluctant to walk the backyard just in case Chimmie might have overcame his fear of the igloo dog house and gone inside to get them. She's not brave enough to pick up chipmunk pieces.)
