Flippin' Nuts

Linda still loves her $129 vacuum.  She feels kind of smug that she has such an incredible vacuum at a fraction of the price of a Dyson Animal.  She likes it so much that it's still out in the living room so she can look at it when she walks by.  In the same post that she wrote about her Eureka! moment, Linda also said that she likes flip flops.  When Tierney was working at a certain expensive store, they both got lots of $30 flip flops for $5 a pair!  The store ran a promotion just for employees and they were allowed to buy as many pairs as they wanted for just $5.  This was the only way in the world Linda would have ever gotten even one pair of the expensive $30 flip flops.  Just today, she found a site that is selling a pair that cost a little more, like $17,970 dollars more! That is just nuts. Granted, they are hand painted by someone she never heard of and the money raised will be donated to save 100,000 sq. ft. of rain forest... but still.   I hope whoever buys them does not have a dog like Chimmie who thinks flip flops taste good.
