Say NO to Barking

I'm Not Out to Get You.
I can count on one paw the amount of times Chimmie has had a hissy-fit barking.  Every once in awhile he'll bark to come inside or when he wants to go for a walk, but it's usually one or two short yips.  He just went ballistic barking and howling at a big red coonhound dog walking by our house.  The front door was open and both Chim and I were sitting inside on the landing watching out the glass storm door.  When the dog got near our house, Chim lost control!  He was barking, howling and acting like a possessed dog.  The hound was about 60 pounds heavier than Chim, so I don't think he wanted to fight it.  Linda thought he was going to go through the glass door.  There's been 100's of dogs walking past and he's never made a peep before this.  (Even now that the hound is gone, he's crying at the door looking outside.)  The lady was pushing a baby stroller while she was walking the hound, so maybe Chim thought she had Noah and wanted to save him from the big dog. Or maybe it was a female and he sensed a love connection.  That would be so annoying if he started barking at random dogs who walk past.
