It's been one of those days. The kind of day poor Chim is stuck in the bathroom. (I think there has been a lot of those days lately.) Linda left at 8:20 a.m., came home from 1:30-3:30, went back out for more classes, and just got home for 45 minutes before it's back up to church for FNF. She loves the nights she has nursery duty, cuddling babies is right up there with cuddling puppies! She'll be home late, and hopefully she'll feel up to walking us since we have not had even one walk today. Chim has had some time chasing the ball in the backyard, so he has been able to get some exercise. I've been a bump on a log (really The Big Bed) and have done nothing but nap all day. I know lots of dogs are home alone for 9-10 hours at a stretch when their humans work real jobs. Many are kept in crates that whole time. At least Chim has his own small room. I'm sure it's harder on Linda to stick him in there then it is on Chim. As soon as the weather isn't so hot, he can stay outside during the daylight hours. Chim LOVES his Panther. Since he'll chew him to 1,000 bits, Linda only lets him suck on his ear when she is home. He pretends it is his Mommy.
