Chewing is my life. |
Linda could have walked us anytime yesterday since it was a lighter teaching day. The time just flew by when she realized we had only been going out in the backyard. It was overcast, but the sun was still peaking thorough about 7:30 pm, so we headed out for a walk. We got about 15 houses away when the rain came pouring down and thunder started. She tucked me inside her shirt and made Chim run home. We were soaked when we got to the front step. The minute she started to open the door, the rain stopped and the sun was peaking out. Since we were wet, she wanted to get in dry clothes before we finished the walk. Of course, once we got inside and she changed, she got busy and we did not get back outside. Today she has 5 classes and a wedding shower to go to. Jerry emailed her that he probably can't come over to walk us this evening, so it looks like poor Chim is going to be cooped up for hours and hours. If he would only learn not to chew things and be a good boy, he could stay out with me. I've never chewed one thing I wasn't supposed to. If there are 20 of our toys on the floor and 1 of Linda's flip-flops, there is a 99% chance he'll chew the shoe.
