Anyone who knows Linda even casually knows that she loves to vacuum. Sometimes she vacuums everyday, but mostly it's three times per week. Her old Bissell (made exclusively for homes with pets) that died was a tried and true vacuum who did it's job..... NOT!!! Right now Linda is almost jumping for joy! She went to the store with her iPhone in hand and checked reviews for every single vacuum at Sears. The Eureka Airgold kept being compared to the Dyson and many reviewers liked it better! She just could not believe that a vacuum that inexpensive was rated so well. The box said it beat Dyson in test after test, but maybe that was Eureka people doing the comparisons. Anyway, for just $129 she decided to go for it. Unloading the box and seeing all the parts was a bit daunting, but she figured it all out and put it together. Remember, she just did a very intense vacuuming on Thursday at noon right before Noah came. She actually went over the carpet twice to get up as much dog/cat hair as possible. CHECK OUT WHAT THE EUREKA PICKED UP! She put the spoon down for comparison so you could see just how much dirt, hair, dust and crude came out of the carpet. This was just the living room, dining room, her bedroom and den. (She feels a little gross that all that was deep in her carpet, but that will be the last time it ever gets so bad.) There is one downside to it. The vacuum cleaned the carpet so well that there were stains that were hidden by all the dirt. Now she'll have to get out the shampoo vacuum.
