We were really hoping that the bees would be dead and double-dead when Linda got home from teaching this morning. Nope, even after spraying the nest area again this morning, they are flying in and out of there like she sprayed honey juice or something equally alluring. They are Staying Alive just like the Bee-Gee's song. She thinks the nest is so far under the concrete step, they just hold their breath while they fly in and down to their hideout. The spray must not be going all the way back. One bee actually almost died, it was laying on the ground kicking it's feet around. No mercy this time, Linda squashed it flat. She is going to have to call in the big guns.
