Over Abundance

Linda has a very easy day today. She did not get any subs today, so all she has is her two normal Friday classes. That's good and bad. Good because she can rest her body and she can attend to all her chores and bad because that means no extra money in the bank account. (Extra money, who is she kidding? God has provided so much, that she has excess!!) Earlier in the week Linda was thinking there wasn't anything to really eat for dinner. While Tier was here yesterday, she looked in the fridge and cabinets (she always does that, before she even sits down) and said "Mom, you have soooo many groceries! I guess living 3 weeks in Africa will give you that perspective. Linda has more food in her house than a family of 6 in Africa eats in a month. Chim and I have enough dry dog food for at least 4 months. Linda probably has more clothes than the entire Umoja church put together. There is only one person living in our 5-bedroom; 3-bath house. Maybe Linda needs to spend some time in Africa to get a better perspective of how blessed she is! (I don't want her to go to Africa. I would be lost without her if she was gone three weeks. I think she already learned her lesson.)
