You can't help getting older, but you don't have to get old*

I'm always so proud of myself when I finish the entire trail walk without needing to be carried.  When Sheba and Snickers were with Linda, she would run the entire trail with Snickers, drop him off and pick up Sheba, then run the trail again with no rest.  Since Sheba was a sled dog Husky, she could not walk her with Snickers because she would pull so hard that it took two arms to control her.  That was before her knee replacement.  Now she can't run very far at all.  Or maybe she could if she really wanted it.  With a finish time of eight hours and 25 minutes, 100-year-old Fauja Singh became the oldest person to ever run a complete marathon!  He almost had to quit, but he pushed through the pain and crossed the finish line!  Mr. Singh started running when he was 80 years old and has been running about 10 miles a day since.  This is his 8th marathon.
