What a rainstorm last night! Before she left for class and the soccer game, Linda checked to make sure all of our windows were shut. When she went to bed last night, she noticed she missed one. The window in the living room on the side of the house was wide open. It's the window that I like to sleep under too. The floor, chair and end table were soaking wet! At least my woobie-bed wasn't under the window. She dried it all as best as she could. We used to have a big fan, but she can't find it. How do you lose a large square fan? The carpet and chair feel dry to the touch this morning, but if the stuffing and floor pad under the carpet is damp she is afraid the house might smell musty. Even if it raining today, Linda and Taylor are still going to work on the garage. It's a busy weekend so she has to get as much done as possible when there is free time. Friends of hers were on the road for hours last night trying to get home from work. Trees came down and areas had flash floods. Entire roads had to be closed and traffic diverted. I guess cleaning up a little water is better than sitting in traffic for 5 hours.
