Even though the weather is A M A Z I N G, we didn't get a walk today. Linda's schedule is different now on Fridays. She added another class, so now she teaches 3 instead of 2. She also met Dawn (she used to live here way, way before me when Taylor was just a little baby) for lunch, so that "ate" into her day a little bit. She just got home from her 5:00 class, showered and is heading back out to Family Night. ((Sidenote: The minute she stepped into the shower, the front doorbell rang, and rang, and rang. She jumped out to see if it was one of the kids and when she peeked out the window, it was the contractor who wanted to sell her the $12,000 deck.)) It would be a perfect weather to bring us to Family Fun Night, but she hasn't been able to get a hold of Tierney to see if she could watch Chimmie. It's too hard for Linda to watch us both. They are doing a giant bonfire tonight, complete with s'mores, hot dogs and hot chocolate. Chimmie will require 100% attention because he might jump into the fire after a hot dog. (Not going with the obvious joke..) Tomorrow is the Ho'Down/Western Day (really just a Fall Picnic now) and then maybe the pitch-black corn maze in the evening. Chim is spending the day tomorrow at Pauls for a play date. He'll get to see his girlfriend, a Chihuahua who lives two houses down from Paul. I hope he gets some photos of them playing together.
