Finding the Gray

Not our house, but you get the idea.
Paul just sent us an email saying he was going to take Chimmie for the entire day!  This is such a load of Linda's mind.  She'll be able to enjoy herself and not have to rush back home to let him outside between church, lunch and meeting Bob later on to load his truck with thrift store treasures.  Speaking of treasure, she found a family that wants Taylor's mountain bike and the giant stack of board games.  She's glad boys from church can use them, now if someone would only take the big stuff.  A few years ago, she gave away every single piece of furniture in our house to a man at church.  Every room was totally empty except for lamps on the floor and each bedroom had a mattress just sitting on the carpet.  Everyone sat on the floor to eat like a picnic.  It was only supposed to be for a few weeks until Linda picked out new furniture, but since she could not find exactly what she wanted, it was over a year!  Honestly, it made Linda happy to have an empty house.  Tier and Taylor did not care a bit either.  She is starting to feel that freedom from stuff since she is getting rid of so much.  People accuse Linda of being very Black and White.  When she makes up her mind or decides a direction, she likes to do it 100% or not at all. Why get rid of a bag of books when you can get rid of every paperback book you ever read?  She's getting rid of 95% of her shoes.  How in the world did she collect so many pairs anyway? (Tier, they aren't shoes you would like so stop having a heart attack.)    Out of a PACKED garage, she only saved her yard mowing stuff, bikes and a few odds and ends.  The rest... dumpster, giveaway or valuable antiques that she hopes will sell.  I hope I make the cut and she does not give me away!
