Where's Choopie? (updated)

Still no word from the Vet on how Choopie is doing.  Chim is acting very strange and clingy, pressing his body as close as possible to mine.  He's also crying and giving me lots of kisses.

  I guess he can smell the vets office on me and knows Chim is gone, so he's put two and two together and realizes Chim is at the Vet.  Shouldn't they have at least called by now to say shes doing fine?  It's been 4 1/2 hours since I dropped her off.

He's been sitting like this for 15 minutes!

UPDATE:  The Dr. just called.  Choop is under anesthesia now and doing fine, but she has two molars that need to be pulled out.  Poor little Choop!  Poor Linda's checkbook!
SECOND UPDATE:  Choop is in the recovery room now.  The Vet said the roots of the teeth were very infected and sure to have been causing her a lot of pain.  She is wrapped in a warm blanket and slowly waking up.  I have to call back at 3:00 to see what time she'll be able to come home.
THIRD UPDATE:  Not good news.  Her temperature is still too low for her to be released.  Choop is awake, but the anesthesia caused her to drop below safe levels.  If she has to spend the night at the hospital, I will be crying.
