The Grass Isn't Green at All

One of Linda's all-time highest read posts is The Grass is Always Greener

She is always so puzzled by why it gets so many hits.  The story is about her grass becoming..well, Greener.  That was a long time ago.  Today after our walk, she took this photo of our current lawn.  Nope, the grass isn't even remotely green.  In fact, the entire lawn is dead, dead, dead.
There isn't a speck of green grass except for a few stubborn green weeds.  Other lawns across the street are never, ever sprinkled, but their grass is green.  We don't water either, but as you can see, it's totally brown.  We don't water the backyard but for some reason, that's still green.  How confusing!  Someone told her that it was dormant for the summer.  Someone else told her it was over fertilized.  Another person told her that all is just fine, if she watered it twice a day for a month it would be green.  So many opinions, so much information.  Oh well. The inside of our house looks just amazing and that's what Linda really cares about.
