He Could Spray Paint it Green

It's a good think that Linda is really OK with her lawn being dead.  It's ugly to look at, but that's it.  Hopefully when the seed gets put down in the fall, it will grow green again.  Compared to what this homeowner had happen to his 40,000 sq. ft lawn, Linda's tiny patch of brown is nothing.  The man went to a garden center and took some time choosing a weed-killer.  Two employees helped him find just what he was looking for, or so they thought.  He purchased 5 bottles of the $35 dollar mixture and seven days later, his entire lawn was dried and dead.  You have to watch the video to believe it.  You can see where he missed spreading the weed killer, because the grass is beautiful in little strips.  He called the company who makes the product and was told he should have peeled off the label on the bottle and looked on page 8 in the tiny print where it says it will also kill all the grass and future grass.  Besides a terrible looking lawn, the guy is the founder of a fundraiser for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Last year they raised $20k for the organization (he has two sons who have the disease.) He had to cancel the event this year because of the product he used.  They can't even sod for 6-months because the soil is ruined too.
