More record temps predicted for today. Linda took us for a long late-night walk before bed because she knew that we wouldn't get any exercise today. Even Chim won't be able to stay outside for more than a few minutes. She's hoping the heat brings lots of people to her Aqua class this morning. Yesterday, there were 3x the number of people in the Aqua class, maybe because it was too hot for people to do their outside walking. There were lots of new students who said they loved it, including an older lady with lots of joint and disc issues. It's wonderful for Linda to teach something that everyone can participate in, regardless of age or limitations. Even conditioned athletes can get a good workout if they do jumping and suspension drills in the water.

Every August Linda says she is going to take us to "dog days" at the local pools. It happens just once a year the day before they close and drain the pool. We've never gone, but this year we defiantly are even if she has to get a sub for one of her classes.
