No Worries

It will be another scorcher today.  It seems like it's been weeks of super high temperatures without a break.  I don't mind so much, but it means that Chimi has to stay cooped up in the bathroom for hours on end while Linda is working.  Right now, he is out on the deck getting his sun-time in.  He won't come inside, even though it's already hot, hot, hot.  Even with his black fur, he just loves being outside with the sun is beating down on him.  I can take it for about 45 seconds and then I want back inside, STAT!  She still wants to see if he'll be a water-dog and take to dog paddling.

I won't worry because we will get two backyard breaks today.  Linda will be away all day, but PW volunteered to let us outside while she is gone.  After classes, she'll be going to watch Penny then right back to her 4:15 class.  She'll hurry back home before she heads back out to family night, so we will get another outside visit.  The past 3 three weekends she's been away from home either on vacation or at her Les Mills workshop.  She really needs a stretch of time at home to get caught up on chores, projects, bill paying and yard/deck work. 

When her life seems so busy that she worries "I need more hours in the day!" she likes to read this verse.  It's actually hanging up in our kitchen.  When she gets afraid of being alone during storms, she remembers God is with her and will make her strong!
