I know we have a whole glorious summer to enjoy before we celebrate Thanksgiving, but I couldn't resist posting this hysterical cartoon. Tierney grew up watching at least 3 episodes of Sesame Street every day. Her first (and only) shoplifting experience was when she nabbed a Big Bird stuffed toy off the shelf in a Hallmark Card Store. Linda was pushing her in the stroller and when Tierney spied the Big Bird, she jumped up out of the stroller, grabbed the bird off the shelf and started running to the front door yelling "Big Bir, Big Bir" at the top of her lungs. She was just 18 months old. Linda bought it for her and to this day it still sits on a shelf in her room. I hope this joke does not traumatize her too much.
