Hissssy Fit

A long time ago, way before I was born, Tierney and Taylor had a great big fish tank. It was 75 gallons, and underneath there was a big glass enclosed snake habitat. The snake who lived here was named Rocky. He started out as a little baby ball python. After a few years, he was almost 4 feet long. They would feed him mice, which boggles my mind since Linda is a vegan and can't even look at a Big Mac without getting squeamish. During that time, there was another cat who lived here named Pumpkin. One night, Rocky got out of the enclosure and started exploring the house.
Everyone was in bed asleep when all of a sudden Pumpkin started howling and hissing at the end of the hallway. Linda, Tierney and Taylor all opened their bedroom doors at the same time and found Pumpkin pinned in the corner by Rocky. Rocky was reared up with his mouth open ready to squish Pumpkin to death. Everyone screamed and the snake dashed under Linda's bed. It took hours to catch him. Poor Pumpkin was traumatized. When Rocky got big enough to eat rats, they gave him away. The moral of the story, if you have a cat and snake as pets, make sure the cat is over 50 pounds.
