The 4th of July is fast approaching. This is Snickers worse day of the entire year. He is noise sensitive and hates fireworks. Just the sound of the vacuum today made him hysterical. Please keep your dogs inside the house and in a safe enviornment during any firework demonstrations. Severe stress may cause shaking, trembling, drooling, howling, refusing food or even having accidents in the house. On a human note, last year about 10,000 were injured in the U.S. as a result of fireworks and 11 people died. Also, about 16% of injuries are caused by burns from sparklers, mostly to small children.
