No Spidy-Sense Here
If you are going to steal and forge a check, what would you buy? The right answer is you wouldn't buy anything because you would never commit such a crime. Not so for a 28-year old man who wrote a bogus check for $980.99. (I love the .99 cents.) He really wanted a rare 1963 edition of a Spider-Man #2 comic book. Instead of saving his pennies to buy the book, the man just stole a check, went down to his local comic store and came home with the comic book. He was caught after being identified in a photo-line up and leaving his finger prints all over the check. He'll be spending the next 7 years of his life in jail. I wonder if they have comic books in the pokey? He better watch out for Doctor Octopus, the Sandman, the Lizard, Venom and especially the Green Goblin. They are all bad guys who are probably rotting in jail right now. For $70 he could get these Spider masks to communicate with the guy in the next cell. He better pay cash though.
