Puppy Love

Old-time Valentine's are the best.
Valentine's Day is next week.  Linda isn't a big fan of the holiday since she feels like it's the card stores, flower shops and candy companies who really make out.  She did hear on the radio that the average man spends $163 dollars on a present for their special Valentine.  The women spend much less (is it because they are smarter or not badgered into buying a cool gift by their lover... or maybe less guilty?)  Guess how much people spend per pet on Valentine's Day?  Only $4.50!  That's not even a Flat Fox.  Those cost $5.99 at the cheap discount store or $9.99 if you go to Pet Smart.  What can you get for $4.50?  I guess a box of cookies or a chew bone. It's easy if your thrifty Linda.  She already got our presents.  We each got a new sweater.  They were in the 90% off bin.  Mine was .69 cents and Chimmies was .99 cents.  Linda just bought the average spent on pets way down.  Chip didn't get anything.  She still has a Christmas present that Linda hasn't given her yet.  It's a toy filled with catnip.  Maybe it will mellow her out some.
