It's a great day when I find a news story about thieves sticking things down their pants! This will be my 8th post of people smuggling contraband inside their pants. (The live lobsters had to be my favorite though.) This time a man visited a Texaco station and shoved a Klondike bar, Ramen noodles and Famous Amos cookies down inside his pants. The owner caught the man and started to call the police. Klondike Man offered the owner $69 not to turn him in, then took the flattened ice cream bar out of his pants to return it. The old man was arrested anyway and is being held on $500 bail. If he had $69 in his pocket, why did he try and shoplift $5 worth of snacks? I'll never understand dumb crooks, but I love the blog fodder.
